Doug Bierer officially started DBC Remodeling & Construction in 2007. Doug has believed since the beginning that people deserve a better home remodeling, basement waterproofing, and crawl space repair experience. He believes that remodeling a home can be stressful enough, clients should not also have to worry about the integrity or trustworthiness of the company and servicemen working on and in their house.

About the owners

DBC Remodeling & Construction Owner and Director of Marketing, Doug and Andrea Bierer

In Doug Bierer's earliest days, he grew up learning construction and remodeling hands-on from his dad and grandfather. He enjoys seeing existing structures restored and given a new purpose. It was always his dream to own a business and he knew that homeowners had enough to worry about during the remodeling process - so he created DBC Remodeling & Construction, a trustworthy company focused on the customer's experience and providing peace of mind to clients while they transform their homes throughout Northeast OH, Northwest PA & Southwest NY.

Doug values being a lifelong learner and he is passionate about reading, studying, and always improving himself. He takes his responsibility of guiding DBC Remodeling & Construction seriously, which is why he continues to grow as an individual so that the company can go on to serve people with integrity and excellence.

Director of Marketing, Andrea Bierer has been in the marketing and communications industry for over 20 years. While she has been helping her husband, Doug since the company was founded in 2007, she started working full-time in October 2020 telling the company story. This includes photography, marketing, advertising, storytelling, videography, and a large amount of IT work to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Andrea is passionate about telling the company's story and her specialty is showcasing the amazing people who work here and letting their incredible skills shine for themselves. She also loves photographing the finished product and interviewing ecstatic customers. She says the best part about sharing the DBC story is knowing how our work actually improves people's homes and the lives of those who live there.

Doug said that since founding DBC Remodeling & Construction in 2007, his number one priority has been helping his team create the best possible customer experience and providing highly professional solutions for homeowners throughout Northeast OH, Northwest PA & Southwest NY. He loves seeing his team overjoyed with creating something excellent and beautiful.

Doug and Andrea live in Millcreek with their two children. They love the Erie region - in the winter you can find them sledding and skiing. While in the summer, they can be spotted enjoying the lakefront views, dining at restaurants, and listening to live music. In Doug's free time he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, coaching his son's baseball team, and reading. Andrea also enjoys reading but also makes jewelry and likes going to festivals.
