Bathroom Remodeling & Sunroom Installation Services in Erie County, PA

George and Jen had wasted space in their unfinished cinder block basement. They had a vision of expanding to allow more space for their family to spend quality time together. Based on a recommendation from a trusted neighbor they sought consultation with DBC. After meeting with Doug and discussing options they decided to go with a Total Basement Finishing System. 

The family really wanted a retreat that included a kitchen, office space, and an additional bathroom. They envisioned nights of putting their musical talent to use in a space where they could entertain and spend the precious teen years with their children. A specific request at the start of the project was to not lose the height of their ceilings. DBC offered a really cool solution of leaving the ceiling open and painting the pipes and lighting black. The finished product looks sleek and refined. 

This gorgeous remodel exceeded expectations, according to George. The family now has an additional space that is useful, functional, and beautiful. The added space will allow them to focus on quality time together and entertaining friends and family. 

Lori and Richard were seeking to remodel the kitchen of their beautiful lakefront home. At the start of the project they expressed a desire to have a more open concept that would allow the kitchen to seamlessly flow with the other rooms in the home. Lighting was of top priority as they wanted more natural light and views to their outdoor space. The family envisioned being able to cook in a beautiful new kitchen all while enjoying the gorgeous view.

DBC was excited to offer several features that exceeded the families expectations. Walls were removed and opened up to allow that flow they were seeking. By opening things up and the color choices of the client the kitchen now reflects the ideal amount of natural light. As an added feature DBC mounted lights under the stylish new cabinets. A stunning color contrast draws the eye to the beautiful new partial island that allows plenty of workspace while keeping that desired room flow. Another favorite feature is the cool geometric floor tiles that tie the room together.

The family is thrilled with their transformation and loved working with the DBC crew. 

Before the start of the global pandemic, Mike and Kim sought out a contractor to make their kitchen dreams come true. DBC was excited to help them transform their small galley kitchen into exactly what they wanted. This was a challenging job due to some home design obstacles right from the start. DBC rose to the challenge and exceeded expectations.

The crew got to work and just as they had torn the kitchen completely out our nation and the globe shut down to shelter in place. Doug, our caring owner, refused to leave his customers to lockdown with no way to cook for themselves. He had 24hrs according to government mandates to build a make-shift working kitchen for his clients until the crew could return to finish the job. Plywood created counters the family could meal prep on and a temporary stove was brought in. Even when the nation was reeling from the pandemic, DBC was putting their customer first. 

As soon as work was allowed to be resumed the crew got to work finishing the kitchen. The finished product is lovely. Beautiful tiles and backsplash bring plenty of detail and interest to the stunning new cabinets and island. The new space provides a beautiful flow around a big island, something the family couldn't have previously in their small space. This space will be enjoyed and used for years to come. 

Our clients in Erie, PA are the hub of activity for their family. They had a problem. When entertaining if you were working in the kitchen you were totally boxed off from the rest of the house and any fun activities going on. They wanted to fix that and open up the kitchen. Lots of seating needed to be available and they were hoping for excellent views of their outdoor space, specifically the pool. 

DBC got right to work. They removed walls and brought in a huge island with an eat in counter. They also had Shenley Schenk come up with a modern design that looks refined and sophisticated. The team created a pass through window from one room to the next to bring even more opportunity to be apart of things happening in multiple areas of the house. A favorite feature is the built in bench with storage underneath. The clients can sit at their new bench and observe the pool outside. 

The finished kitchen is spectacular and our clients are thrilled. They see themselves entertaining and using the space frequently. We are so glad they chose DBC. 

Maximizing space with function and storage was key in this kitchen renovation!

Walls were opened to create a flow that any entertainer would envy! This two tone kitchen boasts soft white cabinetry complimented by a wood island peninsula.  Two tone countertops, leathered black granite and polished granite, were used to create interest and fit the clients style.  The fire clay farm house sink, black hardware, and modern gray subway tile give this kitchen a classic but updated appeal.  

You can not deny the functional storage and unique spaces created in this space.  Trash can pull outs, a large pantry with rollout trays, pots and pans drawers, floating shelves are all packed into this kitchen.  Specialty spaces including a wine area and coffee bar bring aesthetics and function!

From dark and closed in to an open and dramatic bathroom spa fitting the lake front location of the home! A large custom glass framed shower and reduced depth linen closet allowed this space to feel more open and spacious.

The varying wave like appeal of the floor and shower tile are accented perfectly with the dark stone pebble accents while coordinating perfectly with the dark gray stain cabinetry! Sparkling solid surface vanity top with integrated sinks was the perfect solution for style and cleanability. The brushed nickel fixtures and hardware add a soft contrast to the space.

Guess what!?  The cabinetry, solid surface vanity top, and glass shower enclosure are all locally fabricated by skilled trades in our area!

Our clients desired an updated bathroom that offered a more functional layout and inviting tone. DBC reconfigured their bathroom to provide ample space for a beautiful walk-in shower, window seating, and storage in place of an unused jacuzzi, as well as double vanity, and cabinetry for added storage. We also infused warmth and textures within the design to inspire them as they use the space.

Our client wanted an outdoor space where she could privately enjoy Erie’s gorgeous warmer seasons from her backyard. DBC’s crew built a large, multi-functional deck with ample space for seating and dining, a six-foot wall that provides welcome privacy for her city home, and a more subtle cable railing that offers unobstructed views of her yard.
